At J-Aura Massage Therapy, our policies are designed to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all clients. Policies and Guidelines

Cancellation Policy

  • 24-Hour Notice Required: Notify us at least 24 hours in advance to cancel, reschedule, or shorten an appointment.

  • Late Cancellations: Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

  • Missed Appointments: No-shows are charged the full appointment fee.

  • Exceptions: Sudden illness, extreme weather, or emergencies may qualify for a reduced fee.

Late Arrival Policy

  • Arrive early to complete paperwork and prepare for your session.

  • Late arrivals cannot extend the session and will be charged the full fee.

  • Arriving with less than 30 minutes left forfeits the appointment and will be considered a missed session.

 

Appointment Reservations

  • A valid credit card is required to secure bookings.

  • Your card is charged only for outstanding balances or missed appointment fees.

 

Comfort Level Policy

  • Your comfort is our priority. Adjustments to pressure, temperature, or music can be made anytime during your session—just let your therapist know.

 

Zero Tolerance Policy

  • Respect: Aggressive, abusive, or threatening behavior will result in dismissal from the clinic.

  • Sexual Misconduct: Any illicit behavior results in the immediate termination of the session, full payment of the fee, a ban from the clinic, and possible legal action.

 

Receipts

  • Receipts are issued only when payment is received.

  • They will reflect the recipient of the treatment, the date performed, and the treatment type.

  • Cancellation fees are clearly stated as "No Show Appointment Fee" or "Last Minute Cancellation Fee."

 

Direct Billing Policy

  • We can submit claims to your insurance on your behalf.

  • If claims are unsuccessful, you will be responsible for the full payment.

  • Only primary insurance is billed, except for Green Shield Canada.

  • Check your coverage details with your provider to avoid surprises.

 

Privacy Policy

  • We respect your privacy and handle your data responsibly.

  • Personal information is only shared with your consent or as required by law.

  • Emails and contact details are used solely for appointment confirmations, questions, and service updates.

 

Booking Services

  • Information collected during booking is securely stored and used solely to provide requested services.
